WESTERN CIV

Today was our review day for our test tomorrow and we looked over some new notes. There was a leader who let the broke/middle class people have a voice in the government. The agora was the city hall and citizens would go there to argue about political things and share there opinion. They had lots of fake gods who in stories they had interacting with real humans. 2 very know God’s are Zeus the god of thunder and Athena the god of war. Athena was she’s daughter but she wasn’t born by a women. Stories say she came out his head fully grown and dressed in armor and they named Athens after her. The trireme was the worlds fastest ship tower by 170 men on 3 levels, it was agile and fast, and could be used as a battering ram.

Today in western cub we had a full class with everyone there and on time. We began to learn about Greece and we learned the different types of government. There’s polis, monarchy, aristocracy, oligarchy, aristocratic, tyrant. Polish governments are a city and the area around it governed by 1 person. A monarchy is ruled by a single person. Aristocracy rules by the noble, very rich, and landowning families. To be involved in politics you couldn’t be a women, middle class, or slave.

Today in western Vic we continued to work on our power points with our groups and me and my group had to decide what we wanted to do for our project. We had either doing sports like boxing or a foot race in mind or cooking something. We finally got insipired to do food because Sydney and Brysen said they could cook better then us. So now we are making lentil soup with peta bread and make shush kabobs on the side. We all agreed it would be funny to watch us cook due to the fact we all have such little history in knowing how to cook.

Today in western civilization we learned and talked about PowerPoint and ancient Egypt but then we started to discuss if fishes were animals or not and I argued fish were not animals in fact they are there own breed. This is because during the time of lent we can eat meat but not fish thus making thy fishes in this world not animals but there own breed
